How to Do Research and Get Published: New Webinar Series

By Janet Salmons, PhD Research Community Manager

More webinars, please!

Even though I was one of the earliest adopters of webinar technology, I am still amazed to sit in my office in Boulder, Colorado and connect with people from across the world. For one hour, we bridge time and space, culture and background, to delve into the topic at hand. There are no dumb questions, and we welcome all. This is the world I want to be a part of, where people come together to collaborate and learn.

Have you been wondering how you could access more of these lively, interactive, informative webinars? Methodspace has generally offered three or four research methods-oriented webinars per year. Our Sage colleagues ran another series focused on academic writing, called “How to Get Published.” In recognition of the fact that you need research in order to have something to write about, and you need to write about research to make an impact, we decided to join forces. The new series is called “How to do Research and Get Published.”

New monthly webinars for new and experienced researchers and writers.

With a monthly series you have a steady flow of learning opportunities. As always, if the time zone doesn’t work or you are busy, live webinars are recorded and recordings are posted. Webinars are complemented by links to related content and follow-up posts to answer questions. You can assign them to your students - or view in class. See the whole list below; registration is online for the September through December webinars.

Join us for one or all!

All webinars take place at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. Find your time zone here.
