60 years of our lives: A scientific conference celebrating the National Child Development Study at 60, 8-9 March 2018, London
Registration deadline: 2 March 2018Registration is now open for a special conference, celebrating 60 years of the National Child Development Study (NCDS).The British birth cohort studies are one of Britain’s greatest national treasures. The findings stemming from them have been both prolific and far reaching. One of these studies, the NCDS, will turn 60 years old in March 2018.At this conference to mark this special anniversary, delegates will have the opportunity to hear about current work using cohort and longitudinal data, from across the social and biomedical sciences, and from the UK and internationally.Keynote speakers include Professor Richard Blundell (UCL) and Professor Barbara Maughan (King’s College). The conference also features a special panel of distinguished researchers whose careers have been influenced by the NCDS.To register for this event, follow this link.
